Arsenal have signed Greece forward Christos Tzolis from Club Brugge on a long-term contract, adding a direct, high-output attacker to the Premier League champions' squad.
Reuters reported that the fee is understood to be about £34 million, a record sale for a Belgian Pro League club. The 24-year-old arrives after scoring 43 goals and providing 45 assists in 108 appearances for Brugge.
Tzolis helped Brugge win the Belgian Cup in 2025 and the league title in 2026, and was named the Belgian Pro League's player of the season. His production in Belgium rebuilt momentum after a difficult first spell in English football with Norwich City.
For Arsenal, the attraction is versatility. Tzolis can operate from the left, attack central spaces and finish with either foot. His signing also follows Leandro Trossard's departure, creating an immediate opening in the forward rotation.
The transfer is significant, but adaptation will decide its value. Arsenal need Tzolis to carry his confidence and end product into a faster league where defensive pressure and expectations will be considerably higher.
